The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is a test that measures a person's English language abilities in everyday situations. It's one of three English language tests that can be used for Canadian skilled worker immigration programs.
The entire test takes about three hours to complete and can be done in one sitting. Test takers can expect to receive their scores online 4–5 days after the test, and the results are valid for two years. The CELPIP test is used for permanent residence applications, Professional designations, and Citizenship applications.
The score needed for Canadian immigration depends on the skilled worker program being applied to.
A spoken English course helps you improve your English communication skills, including your pronunciation, vocabulary, and fluency. Some courses also help you learn to speak English in a more natural way, and to gain confidence in speaking.
